The Provincial Junior Hockey League appears confident in North Middlesex’s ability to host major events. After successfully hosting the league’s Top Prospects Game last year, the North Middlesex Stars will once again welcome a marquee PJHL event this Sunday as hosts of the PJHL All-Star Game.
The game will feature the Yeck Conference, which includes local teams from Exeter, Lucan and North Middlesex, facing off against players from the Stobbs Conference. North Middlesex Stars Vice President Darren Ferguson says the organization is looking forward to hosting the event and welcoming fans from across the league.
Ferguson says it’s not just hockey as they are taking care of the players off the ice as well.
The arena is expected to be busy on Sunday, with scouting representatives from outside the area scheduled to attend.
Game time is at 1pm at the HMS Insurance Centre in Parkhill, admission is $12 regular tickets, $10 for seniors and $5 for youth. The event will be licensed.
