More provincial funding is going to Ontario’s colleges and universities in developing future health care professionals, teachers, and skilled trades workers.
Colleges, universities, research excellence and security minister Nolan Quinn was at Queen’s University in Kingston on Tuesday to announce that 242 million dollars is being invested towards upgrading learning tools and facilities.
Quinn says with the economic uncertainty happening, it is important to develop a workforce that can protect the industries Canadians depend on.
