The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has sent a new payment to the Municipality of Central Huron for hosting Gateway Casinos Clinton.
OLG says the third-quarter payment, covering October 1st to December 31st 2025, totals $171,538. So far this fiscal year, Central Huron has received $580,447. Since the casino opened in August 2000, the municipality has received nearly $15 million in total payments.
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson says the casino revenue has been an important source of funding for Central Huron over the years. She says the money helps support local services and improve quality of life for residents, while OLG profits are reinvested across Ontario.
