The Municipality of South Huron is inviting residents to take part in an upcoming public meeting.
The meeting will be held tonight, Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall, located at 322 Main Street South in Exeter.
Council will be holding the meeting to hear public input on two important items. The first is a Development Charges Background Study and proposed rates prepared by Watson and Associates Economists Ltd., as required under the Development Charges Act. The second item is a Water and Wastewater Rate Study, including recommended rates and a Water Financial Plan, also prepared by Watson and Associates.
Residents are welcome to attend the meeting and share their comments in person. Written comments can also be submitted ahead of time to be included in the meeting agenda. More details about both projects are available on the Municipality of South Huron website.
The meeting agenda will be posted on southhuron.ca before the meeting, following the municipality’s procedural by-law. Residents who are unable to attend in person can take part virtually by contacting the Clerk’s Department.
The meeting will also be livestreamed on the municipality’s website and YouTube channel. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact the Clerk’s Office for more information.
