Residents in Haldimand-Norfolk will soon have access to in-person support for federal benefit applications through a series of outreach clinics hosted in Caledonia.
Service Canada will have an Outreach Specialist onsite at the Community Support Centre Haldimand-Norfolk to assist clients with pension-related questions and applications.
The sessions are designed to help individuals who are nearing age 65, navigating complex circumstances, or seeking guidance on federal benefits.
Clinics will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 20, April 17, May 15, and June 19, at Unit 1-103 Inverness Street in Caledonia.
Residents can receive assistance with Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS), the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), status checks on existing files, and help submitting forms or correspondence.
To access services, clients must bring valid identification, know their Social Insurance Number (SIN), and be prepared to answer authentication questions so the representative can securely access their file.
