A South Huron resident is facing several charges after a traffic stop in Grand Bend.
Lambton County OPP say they received a report of a possible impaired driver on Main Street around 10:30 a.m. on March 6th.
After investigating, officers arrested a 37-year-old from South Huron. He is facing several charges.
The charges include impaired operation of a vehicle, failing to comply with a probation order, driving while prohibited, driving while under suspension, and drug trafficking offences involving fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Police also impounded the vehicle for 45 days.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia at a later date.
Lambton OPP say they appreciate the member of the public who reported the suspected impaired driver.
