A resident of Exeter is facing charges after a fraud investigation in North Middlesex.
Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called to a business on Parkhill King Street in Parkhill on January 23rd, just before 11 a.m., for a report of fraud.
Police say the investigation found that an employee had allegedly cashed fraudulent cheques totaling more than $107,000.
As a result, a 39-year-old of Exeter has now been charged with fraud over $5,000, criminal breach of trust, and falsifying books and documents with fraudulent intent.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London.
