The Municipality of Bluewater is getting ready for another season of Bluewater Summer Camps, welcoming children ages four to 12 for a summer of outdoor fun and activities.
The eight-week program will run from July 6th to August 28th. Camps will be held in Hensall for all eight weeks, and in Bayfield for the first five weeks at the Agriculture Park Pavilion. During weeks six to eight, the Bayfield camp will move to the Stanley Complex in Varna while the Bayfield Agricultural Fair takes place.
Camp fees have been updated for this year. A five-day week without a trip will cost $150, while a five-day week with a field trip will cost $170. A four-day week will cost $120. Some weeks will include special field trips, with the cost covering transportation and admission.
Registration for the camps will open on March 24th at 6 a.m., and families are encouraged to update their accounts ahead of time.
Organizers say the camps offer a safe and welcoming environment where children can build friendships, enjoy outdoor activities, and take part in creative and team-based programs. Camp hours will run daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More information about the camps, including weekly themes and registration details, is available on the municipality’s website or through the recreation department.
