A Central Huron resident is facing charges after a traffic stop in Clinton.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police say the stop happened on March 20th, just after 10:15 p.m. on John Street in Clinton.
Police say the driver was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the Huron County OPP detachment, where breath tests showed results over the legal limit.
A 30-year-old from Municipality of Central Huron has been charged with impaired driving. Police also laid five additional charges under the Highway Traffic Act.
The vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and the driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
