The community is being invited to come together for an evening of remembrance at the Huron Hospice, 5th annual Candlelight Memorial Walk in Varna.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 11th at 7:30 p.m. along the Taylor Trail. As the sun sets, participants will walk a candlelit path, taking time to reflect with family and friends while remembering loved ones.
The evening will include live music from the Clinton Legion Pipes and Drums band, along with songs from the Solace Bedside Singers, whose voices will carry through the trees. During the dedication ceremony, guests can enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies.
Those attending will also have the chance to donate and light a candle in memory of a loved one. Names will be read aloud during the ceremony. All money raised will go to support Huron Hospice.
The dedication ceremony will be held indoors at the Varna Stanley Complex before the walk begins outside on the trail.
If there is bad weather, the event will be moved to Sunday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m., with updates shared online.
