The Municipality of Central Huron has received a new payment from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for hosting Gateway Casinos Clinton.
OLG says the municipality received $161,573 for the fourth quarter, covering January 1st to March 31st.
In total, Central Huron received $742,020 during OLG’s 2025–2026 fiscal year. Since the casino first opened in August 2000, the municipality has received more than $15 million in payments.
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson says the funding helps municipalities invest in important local priorities, including community services and infrastructure.
Across Ontario, host communities have received nearly $2.4 billion in non-tax gaming revenue since 1994.
