Time to shake off winter and freshen things up. North Middlesex is gearing up for its annual Spring Clean-Up!
Residents are invited to drop off unwanted items on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Collection sites will be set up at the Transfer Station on Victoria Street in Parkhill and the municipal parking lot on Old Mill Street in Ailsa Craig.
Brush and yard waste will only be accepted at the Parkhill location, while e-waste, leaves, and yard waste can be dropped off for free. Other items will have regular fees, and hazardous materials will not be accepted.
Payment options include debit, credit, and cash at both sites.
Officials say it’s a simple way to clear out clutter and help keep the community looking clean and bright for spring.
