A group of young men from the area is working to make organized sports more accessible for local children through a new non-profit organization called All Access Athletics Association.
The group created the organization after seeing the financial challenges some families face when trying to register children in sports programs.
Their goal is to help remove those barriers and give more youth in Huron and Perth counties the chance to take part in organized sports.
To help raise money for the cause, the organization is hosting the “Level the Field 5K” in Clinton.
Organizers say every dollar raised from the event will go directly toward helping local youth participate in sports during the Fall and Winter 2026 seasons.
The event is also aimed at bringing the community together while supporting opportunities for young people to stay active, build confidence, and experience being part of a team.
Residents can support the initiative by taking part in the run or walk, volunteering, or helping spread the word throughout the community.
More information about the organization can be found through the All Access Athletics Association website.
Stay tuned for their interview with myFM next week!
