Drivers and visitors heading to Grand Bend are being reminded that paid parking is back tomorrow (May 15th) and will run through until Labour Day.
The Municipality of Lambton Shores says parking fees collected at Grand Bend Beach help support services and upkeep that visitors use throughout the summer season. These include lifeguard services, daily beach cleaning, public washrooms, water quality testing, the beach information booth, by-law enforcement, and other maintenance and safety services.
Officials note that while some visitors may not enjoy paying for parking, the fees help ensure the beach remains clean, safe, and well-managed during the busy summer months.
Free municipal parking is still available in several locations, including the Ontario Street Lot, Gill Road Lot, and Municipal Drive Lot.
More information about parking in the area can be found here.
