OPP is investigating an aggravated assault that happened early Sunday morning in Grand Bend and are asking the public for help.
Lambton County OPP officers and Lambton County EMS responded to a disturbance on Main Street between Ontario Street North and Kitchener Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. on May 17th. Police say one man was taken to South Huron Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been treated and released from hospital.
The Lambton County Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the incident.
Police are asking businesses and residents in the area to check any CCTV or security camera footage recorded around the time of the incident for possible evidence. Anyone who may have witnessed the assault, recorded video on their phone, or has information is asked to contact Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
