All candidates running for municipal council in Huron County are invited to attend an upcoming candidate information session in Clinton.
The session will take place on Wednesday, June 24th at the Libro Community Hall at 239 Bill Fleming Drive. It will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Organizers say the event is designed to help candidates better understand the 2026 municipal election process and how voting will work across the county.
The evening will include presentations from municipal officials and advisors, starting with a welcome from Huron County Clerk Susan Cronin, followed by a land acknowledgement.
Representatives from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing will provide an overview of the upcoming election and what candidates can expect. Local clerks will also share information on the voters list and explain how residents will cast their ballots.
A presentation on Huron County Council will also be given, along with a question-and-answer period for attendees.
Officials say the session is a chance for candidates to get clear, practical information as they prepare for the upcoming election.
