Huron County Pride celebrated its annual Pride Festival this past weekend, bringing residents together for a day of community, entertainment, and inclusion in Goderich.
The festival, held at Lions Harbour Park, was the highlight of a week of Pride events that took place across Huron County.
Alex Jebson, Chairperson of Huron County Pride, said the organization started with a one-day festival in 2023 and has continued to grow each year.
This year’s festival was held at a new location due to ongoing construction at the previous site. Jebson said the move to Lions Harbour Park has been a positive change, providing more room for activities and vendors.
Jebson says he was pleased with the strong turnout throughout the day and said the new location helped create a welcoming atmosphere.
