Join a Park Naturalist at the Visitor Centre indoor theatre to learn how this part of a life cycle is vital for ecosystem functioning. This program is intended for younger audiences, although all are welcome.

Did you know that there’s life after death in the forest? Many creatures, big and small, depend on dead trees for habitat and food. Join a Park Naturalist at the Visitor Centre to find out which of Pinery’s creatures rely on dead wood, how they use it, and the evidence they leave behind. A game and outdoor activity following story time will show you how to be a forest detective! This program is intended for younger audiences, although all are welcome.
