A Sarnia resident is facing impaired driving charges following a R.I.D.E. checkpoint in Grand Bend.
Lambton County OPP officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. check on Oak Street on June 13th shortly after 6:30 p.m.
As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old of Sarnia has been charged with operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
Police also issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and impounded the vehicle for seven days.
The OPP continues to remind the public to report suspected impaired drivers by calling 911 in emergency situations. Reports of impaired, aggressive, or careless driving can also be made by calling the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
