Visitors to the Klopp Tract in Bluewater will need to make other plans this summer as the conservation area is set to temporarily close for nearby construction work.
The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) says the Klopp Tract will be closed beginning today, June 29th while the County of Huron replaces a culvert under Hensall-Zurich Road (County Road 84).
The temporary closure is being put in place to help ensure public safety while construction is underway. The project is expected to be completed by August 3rd, although timelines may change depending on construction progress.
The Klopp Tract, also known as the Klopp Management Area, is located on the north side of County Road 84 in the Municipality of Bluewater, east of Babylon Line and west of Parr Line.
ABCA is asking residents and visitors to respect the closure and avoid the area until the work is complete. Additional information about local conservation lands can be found through the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority.
