Old River Road has now reopened!
Drivers in Bayfield are being asked to avoid part of Old River Road after a tree came down on hydro lines.
The Municipality of Bluewater says Old River Road is temporarily closed between Highway 21 and Sawmill Road while crews work to safely remove the tree and repair the affected power lines.
The closure will remain in place until the area is safe and the roadway can be reopened.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and avoid the area until the work has been completed.
