The Tanner Steffler Foundation is getting ready to host its sixth annual Driving the Stigma Out Golf Tournament, raising money to support mental health education and awareness.
The tournament will take place on Saturday, July 25th, at White Squirrel Golf Club. The event will include 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, dinner, a silent auction, and plenty of opportunities to connect with others while supporting an important cause.
Lexi Harney, Sponsorship and Fundraising Coordinator with the Tanner Steffler Foundation, says the tournament continues to grow thanks to strong community support.
Money raised this year will help the foundation focus on mental health education.
New this year, the tournament’s silent auction has moved completely online.
Auction items include AirPods 4, a signed Blue Jays baseball, tickets to several OHL games, and many other prizes. The online auction can be found through the foundation’s website or social media pages and will close at 7 p.m. on July 25th. Winners will be announced during the tournament, while those participating online will be contacted directly.
The tournament will be held rain or shine.
