The Ontario government is investing $570,053 to help improve the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Huron Perth – Addiction and Mental Health Services.
The funding will be provided between 2026 and 2028 and will be used to make the building safer and more comfortable for people receiving mental health and addiction services.
The money is part of Ontario’s Community Infrastructure Renewal Fund, which is investing nearly $15 million in repairs and upgrades at 67 community health organizations across the province.
MPP Lisa Thompson says the funding will help ensure people and families in Huron and Perth counties have access to safe, welcoming spaces where they can receive the care they need close to home.
