Construction on Main Street in Exeter has reached another major milestone.
Crews have finished the curb work and most of the preparation on the west side of the road. They are now completing the final steps before laying the first base layer of asphalt.
Once the paving is finished, two-way traffic will be able to return to Main Street, allowing vehicles to travel both northbound and southbound again.
Truck traffic, except for local deliveries, will continue to be detoured while construction moves to the east side of the project.
