The Ausable Port Franks Optimist Club is inviting families to enjoy an afternoon of free fun at this year’s Optimist Cornfest.
The event takes place Saturday, August 22nd, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Optimist Centre outdoor pavilion in Port Franks.
Families can enjoy face painting, games, corn, hot dogs, refreshments and live music from Frank Garcia. The Lambton Shores Fire Department will also be there with equipment and activities for families to check out.
The event is free to attend, although donations are gratefully accepted. Organizers say it is a chance for families and the community to come together and enjoy an evening of food, music and fun.
