The Bayfield Fair is returning this weekend for a special milestone, its 170th year!
Bayfield Agricultural Society Chair and President Doug Yeo says the fair has never missed a year yet.
The weekend begins Friday evening with a packed shedule.
Saturday will feature the parade, inflatables, face painting, horse shows, entertainment and more. Sunday starts with a church service, followed by a precision riding team, heavy horse show, the new mutton-busting event and a bird of prey show.
There will also be plenty of exhibits throughout the weekend.
Yeo says the fair is about much more than entertainment.
Admission is $10 for adults on Saturday and $5 on Sunday. Friday evening is by donation. Children can enjoy the inflatables for $10, while most other activities are included.
Yeo says he can’t wait to see everyone at the fair.
The fair is also looking for volunteers to help with setup, take-down and gate duties.
