Clock ticking for 2026 municipal election candidates
One week now remains to file nomination papers for the 2026 municipal election.
Anyone planning to run for mayor, councillor or school board trustee has until 2 p.m. on Friday, August 21, to submit their nomination papers in person.
Municipal Election Day is set for Monday, October 26.
