Middlesex County OPP is investigating after several residents in Ailsa Craig reported that wheel nuts on their vehicles had been loosened or removed.
Police received multiple complaints on August 11th from people in the North Middlesex area.
Video surveillance also captured two unidentified people appearing to tamper with the wheel nuts on a vehicle.
OPP is asking residents in and around Ailsa Craig to check their vehicles and make sure their wheel nuts have not been tampered with.
The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone who finds their vehicle has been tampered with, or who saw suspicious people or vehicles in the area, is asked to contact Middlesex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
