The popular Exeter White Squirrel Calendar is making a comeback, and the Exeter BIA is looking for your best photos of Willis and his white squirrel friends.
Caroline Hill, Business Manager with the Exeter BIA, says the calendar was a big hit last year and helped bring the community together.
Residents are invited to send in their favourite white squirrel photos for a chance to have them featured in this year’s calendar. Photos must be submitted by September 8th.
The BIA will choose 14 photos for the calendar. The public will then get a chance to vote for the cover photo.
The winner of the cover photo contest will receive $100 in BIA Bucks, which can be used at more than 20 local businesses in Exeter.
Hill says the white squirrels are a special part of Exeter.
People who submitted photos last year are welcome to enter again. Hill says Willis and his friends are always changing, so there are plenty of new moments to capture.
Hill says if you have a photo you would like to submit, it is very easy.
Local businesses can also get involved. Sponsorship spots are available for $50 or $75. Businesses interested in advertising in the calendar can contact the Exeter BIA for more information.
The BIA is hoping the community will once again come together to celebrate one of Exeter’s most unique residents.
