Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron is getting ready to celebrate a special milestone with the return of its annual Harvesting Hope Dinner.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which will be held at the Barn Restaurant and Pub. Executive Director Amy Wilhelm told myFM about the evening.
The event is being held during a very important month for the organization.
Wilhelm says the event is always well attended and gives people a chance to come together and learn more about the work being done in the community. Volunteers and a Big Brothers Big Sisters match will also share their experiences during the evening.
An online auction will also run from September 20th to September 27th, with more than 150 items available for people to bid on.
The organization is looking for support to help cover the cost of the event.
There are still a limited number of tickets available. Tickets cost $50 for adults and $20 for children and can be purchased through the Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron website, Facebook page, by contacting the office or by visiting the Little Shop. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, September 18th.
Harvesting Hope takes place September 25th.
