The return of the South Huron Trail Run has raised more than $4,800 to help maintain the local trail.
The event took place on August 30th, bringing 84 runners out for the 8-kilometre and 3.25-kilometre races.
The run returned this year after several years away. Despite some rain, participants came out to support the trail and enjoy some time outdoors.
All money raised will go toward future maintenance of the South Huron Trail.
Organizers hope to bring the event back in 2027 and are encouraging people to get involved as runners, volunteers, sponsors or donors.
