A community event in Exeter is marking nine years of bringing people together to support those affected by esophageal cancer.
Murray’s Miles returns to McNaughton Park this Sunday, October 4th, with a 5-kilometre walk and run. The event has raised more than $190,000 over the years for esophageal cancer care and research at London Health Sciences Centre’s Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre.
Organizers are inviting people of all ages to take part, whether they choose to walk, run or simply come out to show their support.
Registration opens at 9 a.m., with a guest speaker scheduled for 9:30 a.m. The walk and run begins at 10 a.m.
Now in its ninth year, Murray’s Miles continues to raise money and awareness while giving the community a chance to come together for an important cause.
