Bluewater residents will have a chance to get help with voting ahead of the municipal election.
The Municipality of Bluewater’s Corporate Services Team will be at the Hensall and Bayfield libraries on October 17th to help residents register to vote, update their information or cast their ballot.
The team will be at the Hensall Library at 108 King Street from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by the Bayfield Library at 18 Bayfield Main Street from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Residents can bring their own device to vote or use a device provided at the library.
Anyone attending is asked to bring approved identification showing their Bluewater address, along with their Voter Information Letter if they have received one.
Residents who cannot make it to either library can also get help at the Bluewater Municipal Office at 14 Mill Avenue in Zurich. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours on October 21st from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Municipal Office will also be open on Election Day, October 26th, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. to provide voter assistance.
