Norfolk County residents attending the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show this weekend will have an opportunity to help shape municipal spending priorities for 2027.
The County is inviting fairgoers to visit its booth in Building 6, where staff will be offering interactive budget engagement activities, answering questions about municipal services and gathering feedback from residents.
One of the featured activities is a hands-on LEGO exercise called “Build Your Priorities,” which gives participants an opportunity to explore and share their priorities for the community.
Visitors can also complete the County’s 2027 Budget Survey, offer ideas and feedback, and learn more about how the municipal budget supports services throughout Norfolk.
County staff will be available to answer questions and discuss the budget process with residents. Norfolk County giveaways will also be available to participants while supplies last.
The initiative provides an opportunity for residents to have their say as the municipality prepares its 2027 budget and considers community needs and priorities.
The County’s booth will be open during the remaining days of the fair.
Fair hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 12.
