South Huron Minor Hockey is being recognized as the myFM Community Partner for the month of November, helping raise awareness about its programs and opportunities for local players.
Here’s Doug English with South Huron Minor Hockey.
English explains that the organization does more than teach kids hockey.
Families interested in getting involved can find more information at the South Huron Minor Hockey Website. English also encourages people to visit the local rink to see the players, coaches and hockey community in action.
South Huron Minor Hockey has several events planned in the coming months.
A local Silver Stick regional qualifier is scheduled for November, followed by the annual Pink on the Rink girls hockey tournament in December.
He encourages residents to come out, watch the games and support minor hockey in the community.
