Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) will offer flu, COVID-19 and RSV immunization clinics across Huron and Perth counties from November 23 to December 4.
The clinics are for residents who have not been able to get their vaccines through a pharmacy or healthcare provider.
HPPH is asking residents to contact their pharmacy or healthcare provider first, as the public health clinics are an additional option to help people stay protected this winter.
Annual flu and COVID-19 vaccines are recommended for everyone six months of age and older. Both vaccines can safely be given at the same time.
RSV immunization is also available for people who meet the eligibility requirements.
Staying up to date on recommended vaccines can help prevent serious illness, especially among young children, older adults, pregnant people and those with certain health conditions or weakened immune systems.
Community clinics are open to the general public, while family-focused clinics are designed for families with young children and people who feel nervous about getting immunized. Appointments are required for all clinics.
Residents can find vaccine information, check eligibility and book an appointment at www.hpph.ca/vaccines.
