A 61-year-old man from Northern Bruce Peninsula is facing several criminal charges following a sexual assault investigation involving alleged incidents in Huron County, Wellington County and other parts of Ontario.
The Huron County OPP Crime Unit began investigating in May 2026 after receiving a report of a sexual assault. Police say the alleged offences took place in 2022 and 2023.
Following several months of investigation, a 61-year-old was arrested on October 6th and charged with three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual exploitation.
He is also charged with making sexually explicit material available to a person under 18, printing and publishing child pornography, possessing child pornography, and luring a person under 18 through telecommunication.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have been affected, experienced similar circumstances or has information that could help the investigation to contact the OPP.
