Some municipalities councils have changed drastically following the municipal elections earlier this year.
The one in Central Huron did not.
With 7 of 8 councillors returning to their posts for another term, mayor Jim Ginn said it’s not necessarily business as usual for them, but they have a few things they’re looking to continue to work on moving forward.
He said they will be working on their 2019 budget at the beginning of the new year, as they look ahead for next year and the three after that.
Ginn mentioned the Bluewater Youth Centre, which was shut down in 2012 by the province.
He said the municipality would have a chance to purchase it should the province decide to sell the building, and they will look into having a solid plan for the building should it become avaliable.
