Lambton County is getting 13 new electric vehicle charging stations including two in Lambton Shores.
The stations were installed in part through funding from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation who provided $104 thousand to the project.
The stations in Lambton Shores will be at the Lambton Heritage Museum in Grand Bend, and the North Lambton Lodge in Forest.
Although not mandatory the easiest way to pay for charging at these stations is through the use of an FLO payment card which is linked to a users credit card.
Currently 50 cards are available on a first come first serve basis and anyone interested is asked to call the County’s Procurement & Project Management Department at 519-845-0801
