The province's annual list of public sector workers who are paid more than 100-thousand dollars has been released. The sunshine list includes doctors employed by hospitals, nurses, teachers, police and firefighters, in addition to civil servants.

HURON FOOD ACTION NETWORK REVEALS NEW LOGO AND FOOD CHARTER

The Huron Food Action Network has finalized its Food Charter for the County. During a meeting last night, HFAN also released the design of its new logo thanks to a company out of Brussels. Farm and food consultant, Joan Brady tells myFM News the charter is about more than just food production.

EXETER SKATING CLUB CELEBRATES 60TH ANNIVERSARY

The Exeter Skating Club is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a Hollywood themed carnival this weekend. Formed in the 1950's by Wilma Brintnell and Derry Boyle, the club has produced singles and pairs dance skaters who have competed in regional, provincial and national levels.

DOZENS OF LOCAL AVON MAITLAND DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD EMPLOYEES ON SUNSHINE LIST

The Avon Maitland District School Board's list of employees who take home more than $100,000 a year, the so-called Sunshine List has been released. According to the report, there are more than a dozen local teachers, superintendants and principals who earned a 6-digit salary in 2014.

Over 200 Scouts, Cubs and Beavers from the local area will be at the South Huron Rec Centre this weekend. The 1st Exeter Scouts will be hosting the "Frontier Area Rally" which will inlude racing, crafts and, games.

PRELIMINARY HEARING FOR BORIS PANOVSKI SET FOR OCTOBER

The 70-year-old man charged in the shooting death of a Caledon East man will have his preliminary hearing in October. Boris Panovski appeared in Goderich Court Thursday morning via video link. The dates for the hearing, slated to last around 2 weeks, are expected to be announced on April 9th.

It's all about partnerships. This was the message heard at Tuesday night?s information meeting on a South Huron Community Foundation. South Huron Mayor, Maureen Cole was pleased that over 50 people showed interest by coming and had great questions.
