Unsettled might be the best word to describe the weather as we head into the last long weekend of summer. The forecast is calling for cloudy skies on Saturday and a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday and Monday, but there is a chance of showers each day.

HURON COUNTY STAFF TO TAKE ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE FRIDAY IN GODERICH

Dozens of local businesses and groups around the area continue to dump buckets of ice cold water on their heads as part of the ALS ice bucket challenge. So far in Canada, the campaign has raised nearly $10 million for the disease, often refered to as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

There are only a couple more months to get local fruit and veggies from the Exeter Farmers Market. Manager of the market, Terri Barr says the season started out slow, with a cold spring but, now there's plenty of fresh fruit and veggies available.

GODERICH COUNCIL PUTS MULTI-USE MEDICAL FACILITY PLANS ON HOLD

Goderich residents will have to wait until early next month to see if a new medical facility will be built beside the hospital in the town. During a meeting on Monday, Goderich Council voted to defer a decision on the facility to their meeting on September 8th.
