HYDRO ONE SAYS WEATHER IS TO BLAME FOR A POWER OUTAGE THIS WEEK

The weather is being eyed as the cause of two major power outages in the last two weeks that left large parts of the area in the dark. The first outage took place on December 10th when a sky wire fell from a tower onto a transmission line leaving thousands in the dark for a couple hours.

An ongoing problem with Middlesex-London EMS appears to be getting worse. There have been three code zero instances in the past 72 hours and in these cases there aren't any ambulances available to help those in need.

It appears the housing market in South Huron is stable. According to the Perth Huron Association of Realtors the market in the municipality shouldn't see any significant activity or changes heading into 2015.

GARLIC BOX PLANNING ON EXPANDING PRODUCTION IN HENSALL

A local business will be expanding following provincial recognition. The Garlic Box, was recently handed the 2014 Premier's Leader in Innovation award and Co-owner, Jackie Rowe says they plan to make more room for production.
