Blyth Road remains closed as police investigate a serious crash involving a car and cyclist. According to Huron County OPP the incident happened shortly before 9 this morning, when a sedan hit the female cyclist along Blyth Road near Council Line.

The municipality is one step closer toward finalizing a strategic plan for South Huron. After receiving several proposals for the work, Millier Dickinson Blaies was chosen as the preferred consultant based on the proposal they submitted to the South Huron Strategic Plan RFP Evaluation Committee.
