ONTARIO FESTIVE RIDE RESULTS

The OPP Festive Ride wrapped up earlier and the final statistics are in for the Province. West Region OPP Sergeant Dave Rektor says the numbers this year are alarming especially since there were six people who lost their lives in impaired driving-related incidents during the campaign.

Bus cancellations are rolling in this morning on account of freezing rain. ALL buses in Middlesex County are cancelled. All Rural Routes and Specialized Routes for Seaforth, Clinton, St. Marys, Exeter and Mitchell are also cancelled.

TRUDEAU IN LONDON

Alumni Hall at Western University in London was filled to its 1,800 person capacity Friday night and saw thousands of others standing in the cold to attend a town hall forum hosted by Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.

COMPUTERS FROM SCHOOL STOLEN

Huron County OPP are investigating after computers were stolen from St. Joseph?s Elementary School in Clinton. On January 6th a teacher at the school discovered that one of the windows of the rear portable had been smashed and someone had gained access to the portable.

AMBER ALERT FROM PEEL REGION

An Amber Alert has been issued out of the Peel region. The victim, Alyssa Langille, is described as female, white, 15 years old, 5'2" tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a grey sweater, grey sweatpants, and black and red Air Jordan running shoes.

ICE RINK IN MCNAUGHTON PARK

You may have noticed an ice rink has popped up in McNaughton Park. The South Huron Fire Department has put up the rink for the past 7 years. South Huron District Fire Chief, Jeff Musser says the ice really came together thanks to the support of the community.
