Perth County OPP is hoping to speak with a man who they say was watching students at a school in St. Marys. Police were called to Holy Name of Mary School around 11am Thursday after staff noticed a suspicious man in the area.

ENVIRONMENT CANADA ISSUES A SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT FOR THE AREA

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for South Huron and Northern Huron Counties. It says multiple bands of lake effect flurries developed in a northwest flow over Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. The flurries may be heavy at times, reducing visibility to less than 400 metres.

BRUCE POWER SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH B & W CANADA

Bruce Power and B and W Canada have forged a $300-million agreement. In a release, Bruce Power says the agreement will allow B and W Canada, based out of Cambridge, continue to be a major employer and provide highly skilled jobs within the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge area.

The MPP for Huron-Bruce says the Liberal Governments plan to reduce neonicotinoid use for soybean and corn crops by 80 per cent by 2017 is a knee jerk reaction, without the science to back it up.
