There were 53 century farm properties being awarded certificates in Crediton last night at the community centre. The Heritage Advisory Committee was able to trace the Stephen Township farms back 100 years and wanted to celebrate.

POLICE INVESTIGATING MISCHIEF INCIDENT IN BAYFIELD

Huron County OPP officers are investigating a mischief incident that happened in Bayfield over the weekend. According to police a Jeep Sahara parked on Catherine Street was vandalized sometime during the early morning hours of November 16th.

The Municipality wants to know why you think South Huron is youth friendly. Officials are looking to renew South Huron's Youth Friendly Community Status and are asking residents to email reasons why they believe South Huron is Youth Friendly.

TRI-COUNTY PARTNERSHIP MEANS CONSISTENT FUNDING FOR PARAMEDICINE PROGRAM

A tri-county partnership between Huron, Bruce and Perth Counties means consistency across the board when it comes to a pilot community paramedicine program. This isn't necessarily a new program in Huron, but the County is looking forward to seeing improvements and growth to it.

EARLY MORNING BLAZE IN GODERICH

An early morning blaze had firefighters in Goderich battling the elements. The fire was at a building in the Goderich Square on North Street beside where the MTO office is located, it's not believed anyone was injured in the blaze. myFM's Brian Bourke is at the scene and has more.

The Municipality of South Huron is ready to tackle any winter weather we experience over the holiday season. Transportation Services Manager, Jason Parr says they've hired extra operators to make sure roads are safe for driving.

Residents gave generously during this year's poppy campaign. Here in Exeter, nearly $5,000 was raised from poppy donation boxes and the cadet poppy drive.

SALVATION ARMY CHRISTMAS KETTLE CAMPAIGN UNDERWAY

It's become a familiar site as the holidays approach and it will be returning again this year. The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign has started for the 2014 Christmas season and locally it's being run by the Suncoast Citadelin Goderich.

PERTH COUNTY OPP RESPOND TO 40 CRASHES OVER 24 HOUR PERIOD

Perth County OPP says its responded to at least 40 crashes on the roadways over a 24 hour period during the snow storm Tuesday. Police say most of the calls involved vehicles leaving roadways and entering into snow filled ditches. Other vehicles crashed into guardrails, fence posts, or trees.
